Movement on Head

Postby Stephen » Wed Jul 05, 2006 6:06 pm

Hi

I am getting slight movement on the top rotating arm, in all positions. (the part the camera fits to).

Is there any way of correcting any play in the same way you have mentioned with regards to the base in previous posts.

Thanks
Stephen

Hi Steven,

The camerarm will always have a slight play in it (up/down rotation), as it is how the spring plunger is able to fit into the slots. The play should be taken out by the weight of the camera of the head.

Does this answer what I think you are describing?

Kindest,

Stu

Camera Arm Movement

Postby Stephen » Wed Jul 05, 2006 9:42 pm

Hep! Thats the one.

I was thinking that might be the case. Cheers

Received the Arm in a box as mentioned. But does the arm have any product packaging, rather than the simple box for carriage?. (thinking of resale purposes if needed).

Not the biggest deal in the world as the box wouldn't help me take any shots :), but a few in the office had doubts as to me paying for a new item deliverd in an old box without any product packaging.

Thanks for sorting this out while mathew is on leave.

You can probably receive it in the most fanciest box you desire... don't be surprised though if the cost of the product goes up accordingly!
