No, you do not need to set any control points. There's a read me file with the download that explains what you need to do.
Quite simply you create a new project, add the images and then choose apply template. Choose the template you've downloaded from our site and then create the panorama.

I make photos in my bath for calibration the 360precision with my camera Nikon D200 + Nikkor 10.5 mm.
When I make the steps, I never make a correct panorama. It can be a problem of 360precision? I have published the photos and the test in: http://www.jmwebs.net/bath.zip Please... help me. Thanks.
But you're using the template I created for my own D200/10.5 with your own D200. This DOES NOT WORK. You need to create a template for your own set-up as the sensor offset/shift in every single D200/10.5 is different. Matt
Ok.
But when I create the group following the steps, it always generates errors to me. Even when I put the automatic "control points" leave bad. That steps I must correctly follow for my Nikon D200 + nikkor 10.5 Please, help me. Thanks.
I have no idea what you're doing though as the template you sent me has no control points, no optimisation values etc, it's simply a blank template. Also, you really need to set all the control points MANUALLY. The auto function doesn't really handle fisheye images well enough for template generation. I'm happy to help you create a template but first you need to learn how to use PTMac. I suggest you post your questions on the Kekus forum and after you've managed to stitch an error free panorama manually we can then move onto creating the template. Matt
Hi Matt,
I do create a new panorama. I have followed the steps and I have marked the control points. The results is regular (bad). Can you see the result? http://www.jmwebs.net/bath.zip I hope your answer. Help me, please. Thanks. Jordi
I can't see anything as the template file you're including in the zip file has no control points and has not been optimised.
Like I mentioned in my previous post you're much better off posting PTMac specific questions on the Kekus forum. Once you have an intermediate understanding of PTMac then we are more than happy to help you create a calibrated template. Trying to create a calibrated template before being able to manual stitch using PTMac is like banging your head against a brick-wall. Matt
Hi Matt,
we have the same proverb in Czech Republic - with one’s head against the wall. I use PTGUI and results are good I thing - but I fight with stitching two nadir shots. A little trouble due to offset of the sensor. You mentioned to upload some pictures about this issue. It is not critical for me. Just asking. Your 360precision (now is mine) works fine for me. GPS cordintates can be stored in EXIF jpg headers. The Nikon 200 has such a function. Or you can sync the clock of camera and gps (or figure out the offset later) and buy software that will write the gps data in batches and even create google earch data for about $30
http://www.wwmx.org/Download.aspx http://www.robogeo.com http://www.robophoto.com However I dont know how this transfers into stiched images. If it was a manual or photoshop action that did the bottom. Any related info would be much appreciated. Thank you KieranMullen Regards
