I love the ATOME head that I use with my Nikon 700D and a 10.5mm shaved nikon fisheye. 6 shots around (can even get by with 4), and everything stitches together great, except, the Zenith, which I always have to clean up in photoshop afterwards. It is easy if the zenith is of something simple, but if it is of a more complex ceiling, then it can require a lot of work.
I am using PTGui, the lastest version, for Mac. I get a "good" grade on my control points. So what do I need to do?
I don't see anyway that it could be an adjustment to the head, Since there are no adjustments. It must be rotating about the nodal point. I don't see how I could move the lens forwards or backwards in the ring. It seems to me that it is already affixed at the only place it could be. There is just enough room for the ring.
I would appreciate it if someone had any ideas as to what I could do. Thank you.

Re: can't get a clean zenith stitch with ATMOS headHi Christopher,
Please upload a sample image set. I'll be happy to take a look.
Re: can't get a clean zenith stitch with ATOME headHow are you shooting the zenith with the Atome 10.5 ?

Re: can't get a clean zenith stitch with ATOME headMatt, I don't think it is necessary to actually shoot a zenith, is it? I just shoot 6 around when on a tripod, and 4 around when doing a handheld pole pano.
Panman, where would I upload the photos to? would that be acceptable on this this forum? how large should they be for your inspection?
Re: can't get a clean zenith stitch with ATOME headHi,
Full size JPEGs and one of your PTGui projects would be great. You can upload them to your site, or use http://www.yousendit.com and post the link here.
